I had the best time taking photos with this lovely family! The Rogers were kind and patient, which resulted in wonderful and relaxed photos. It didn't hurt that they were all good looking and beautiful together. Mrs. Rogers flowers were so beautiful!

I was over the moon that I got to take photos of this precious girl. Emma's mother, Sarah is someone that I've known for a very long time which made this session special. I was awed to see the love that Sarah has for her little girl. Here are some of the nursery details. I love the little details!
I had a great time doing this sweet photo session at Waveland Museum. This little girl has grown up so quickly! Vivian loved all the locations we stopped at and I was pleasantly surprised to find those cute hearts drawn on the barn side. It was the perfect end to the session. The experience of photographing a child through their first year is awesome. I love watching little people grow up right before my camera lens. Knowing that the photographs I provide them with end up on their walls and in their hearts forever means more than I could ever say.
Little Lydia Lee is doing just that, growing right before my very lens. This 9 month session was great fun. We went to the University of Kentucky Arboretum just as some of the flowers were blooming. I love outdoor sessions and the challenge of capturing a smile here or there of a child when there are so many distractions. It was a cold, slightly rainy day when I took these sweet photos with Lucy and Colt. I am so thankful that they were as into this session as I was. I haven't had that much fun with two kids at a shoot before. Their parents are definitely lucky to have such fun, easy going children. I hope I get to photograph for this family again!
Beautiful Lydia Lee is now 6 months old. Isn't she gorgeous!?! Her mother, Jessica and I had a blast with this session. I am so honored to take photos of this sweet girl.
I went to the album release for The Reflectives on Friday. So much fun! It was an awesome gathering at the Madison Theater in Covington, KY and I took some photos. Here are a few of my favorites in a slideshow: Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/theReflectives And here is their album streaming: This past weekend, I did some fun Christmas photos of The Reflectives, a band based out of the greater Cincinnati area. The photos were meant to capture the goofiness of the group and awkwardness of most family Christmas photos. I think that we accomplished that. Also, the ornament reflection portrait is kind of awesome. I love photographing this band! 2014 is going to be a great year for the band. The Reflectives will be releasing their first studio produced album titled, "Everything's Pretend" shortly after the first of the year. They will be having an album release party on January 17th, 2014. Here is a link to The Reflective's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/theReflectives They are also having a meme contest. Create a meme with your favorite Reflective's Christmas photo and you could get your choice of tickets to their show or a downloaded copy of their upcoming album, "Everything's Pretend".
