Here is a gallery of my favorites from the session, but I loved them all!
I had such a great time a few weekends ago taking Michael's senior pictures. Even if it was a cold day and I had an unfortunate slip into a creek, I had the best time taking these photos. Also, I think that the pictures turned out better than anyone could have hoped given the weather and my clumsiness. Here is a gallery of my favorites from the session, but I loved them all! Also, here is a gallery of the high school sweet hearts, Michael and Nikki. They are such an adorable couple!

Most of the time I am blessed with clients who have access to great locations like the creek below. It was the perfect spot for the senior session I did this weekend!
I've had the pleasure of photographing Lydia Lee for most of her life so far. She and her family are the sweetest people and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue taking their photos. Lydia turned one recently so we took some photos of her at the Waveland Historic Site and even snuck in a few gorgeous family shots as well. Here are some of my favorites: We also did a retro feeling photograph. The dress that Lydia wore was one that Jessica had worn in pictures as a child. I had some background issues that day so we used some of Jessica's sheets and made due. The pictures turned out better than I imagined. I wanted to show you how different the finished product can be from what comes out of my camera. Most of photography doesn't require a lot of time in editing, but there are sometimes a few that need the extra attention. Here is a rare before and after: I recently went to the Atlanta Aquarium. It was pretty and I took pictures. :) These horses are from a farm where I did a recent photo shoot. I took advantage of the opportunity to take photos of these beautiful animals. I would love to find more time and horses so I could have more horse photography for my portfolio. Also, here are a few farm details and tractor pictures. . because I couldn't resist. :) Taking photos of Dalton on a local Northern Kentucky farm was a blast. We spent that hot afternoon touring the farm and stopping for photos at various locations. Dalton was such a trooper and is a sweet boy to photograph. I love on location lifestyle photography so much. . and this day, where I got to see horses, tractors, nature, and Indiana from the top of a hillside I realized that taking photos outdoors is definitely where I am strongest. Here's a gallery of my favorites from my session with Dalton: The day that the Wright family and I took photos together it was raining off and on. Even with the weather not being on our side, we had such a great time taking photos. The session took place in downtown Georgetown and a nearby park. This was a great location for many reasons. First, Georgetown is where Randy and April met and fell in love. So, the location made this little family's session even more special and poignant. In addition to that, downtown Georgetown is so sweet and pretty. There are many architectural and plant life locations that are great places to stop for photos. It was nice to visit Georgetown. Living so close to it makes me take the little gem for granted. I haven't been to the small town since I graduated college. So many memories came flooding back to me as I drove around the college campus after the session. Visiting our past is so important for us sometimes. Getting a feel for how far we came and all the lovely souls that helped along the way is humbling and empowering. Here are my favorite shots from the Wright family session: You may or may not remember a drawing for a free session that I had quite a long time ago. Trellyn was my winner and this month I took family photos for her. Her girls are beautiful and totally adorable! I had so much fun with this relaxed session that took place right in Trellyn's back yard. Sometimes you don't have to go far to get some great shots! Lydia's ladybug themed birthday party was adorable! Jessica did an amazing job getting it together and I had fun capturing the memories for the adorable Lee family!
